Commitment to the communities to Ladera Ranch and Rancho Mission Viejo
We are NOT your typical Chamber of Commerce
Although many people move to Ladera Ranch and Rancho Mission Viejo because our communities are great places to raise kids, our brick-and-mortar businesses and retail centers are really the foundation of the community. They are conveniently located, provide high-quality goods and services, great places to dine, shop and work out, jobs and the taxes they collect provide emergency services and maintain our infrastructure and street network.
The Ladera Rancho Chamber of Commerce is a 501(c)(6) non-profit, public benefit corporation whose mission is to drive economic development in and around the communities of Ladera Ranch and Rancho Mission Viejo and to advocate on behalf of our member businesses.
We are the only business-advocacy organization operating in any of Orange County’s massive unincorporated area. Since our areas are not formally-incorporated cities, we operate completely independent of a city, Mayor or City Council – and that has its advantages! It allows us to focus solely on advocating for our businesses, without distraction from political agendas. But it also has its disadvantages, primarily funding since cities work closely with their respective Chambers of Commerce in supporting tourism.
Costs and overhead are always elements that should be given careful consideration when starting and operating a business but we have found that community engagement is the most important element contributing to the long-term success of a business. If you plant roots in this community and cultivate the relationships of our great residents, you will be rewarded: our residents want our businesses to succeed!
We are not your typical Chamber of Commerce! Many Chambers participate in Installation Dinners, Golf Tournaments, Galas or Balls, etc. and we do not bother with any of those. We focus on YOUR BUSINESS and do all we can to create opportunities to grow your visibility within the community with events and marketing. If you are new, we will also coordinate your Ribbon Cutting Grand Opening! We do some of the best in Orange County.
There are also many work-from-home businesses here and they are equally important to our local economy! The bottom line (so to speak) is that every business should be a member of the Chamber because we help in many ways, not the least of which is to SUPPORT LOCAL!
Not a member yet? We hope you will join! As with many parts of life, you get out of Chamber membership what you put into it. The more vigorous the effort, the larger the benefit! Membership is the heart of the organization and although we do advocate for our business community at large, we only have resources to direct to businesses who are members. Our membership rates are very reasonable, have not risen in 7 years and they are generally tax deductible.
Although Chambers of Commerce have existed for hundreds of years in an advocacy role, many Gen Z and Millennials are not familiar with them. That’s why we adopted the surname “Ladera Rancho Business Connection”: because everyone knows what BUSINESS is! You can find us on Instagram and Facebook and we encourage you to subscribe to our e-Newsletters.
